About IAP RiCHS

The Indian Academy of Pediatrics was established in 1963, at Mumbai with a little more than 150 pediatricians as its members.

In its Golden Jubilee year, 2013, there are over 23,000 members across the country. It has 26 State, and 303 District, and City level branches.

The Academy has promoted different specialties in the field of Pediatrics through it various Chapters.

AIMS AND OBJECTS:

  • To promote research in child health.
  • To recognize and felicitate researchers in the field of child health
  • To develop need based training modules for training in areas related to research in child health
  • To conduct training in research methods related to child health a). Quantitative Research b). Qualitative Research c). Secondary Data Analysis, etc.
  • To conduct and facilitate research in various fields related to child health
  • To establish and maintain registry for various types of research
  • To develop need based training modules for training in areas related to research in child health

Our Prime Objectives

To arrange/ organize discussions, seminars, conference and other lawful gathering for the promotions of Aims and Objects of the Society. To accept donations, grants, presents, and other offering (in the shape of moveable or immovable properties) and the same shall be utilised for the promotion of Aims and objects of the society. To perform any other act which may be incidental or conductive to the attachments of any of the object of the above society. All the incomes, earnings, movable / immovable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and object only a set forth in the Memorandum of the society and no profit, thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any other manner whatsoever to the present or past members of the society or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or the past members.
